The painting Riviera is from a serie “Go as a River” from 2020/21.

The series following the research of organic patterns in nature such as geological sediments, the satellite view of landscapes and coastlines. Like a visual archaeologist bringing the undulations of paint and rhythm back to the surface of the canvas.

The fascination with our astonishing planet, as well as the fascination for the meditation practice of Thich Nhat Hahn is intertwined in the creation process.
So go, in life, as a river.
